Yesterday Chief Rogers visited the Little Backpacks Preschool and did a fire safety demo. STOP. DROP & ROLL! The preschool presented him and AVFD with an AMAZING painting done but the preschoolers complete with their fingerprints as balloons!

Today Howell Mtn Elementary did their annual Halloween Parade with a final stop at the firehouse. They delivered a LOT of thank you cards and a sweet banner. We love you all!

E18 on airport over watch. While Chief Rogers monitors 4 radios across 7 frequencies and all the movement on the airport, FF Purba and FF Uechi have taken up residence on the roof to watch the show and talk and educate bystanders.

It’s a helicopter day today at Angwin Airport. E18 is providing crash rescue support for the helibase on the Southern Complex.

It’s been a busy few days. We have two rigs in Santa Rosa, one in St Helena/Calistoga and two ready at home in Angwin.
Your Angwin crew is staffing the north end of the county in St Helena to cover any local calls for service while others are fighting the Tubbs and Atlas Fire.
We love fighting fire with our sister. Angwin E318 and Deer Park E221 have been linked up since the start of the Tubbs Fire getting it done. Stopped off in Calistoga for a quick bite.
